Our designs are crafted the traditional way with real hand-tufted upholstery in our Southern California factory. AFK Furniture creates legacy children's furniture & nursery furniture rooted in classical design, including French, Victorian and European-inspired collections.
FRENCH ARMOIRE
cerified low-to-zero VOC finishes
Our luxury bedroom furniture pieces are hand-painted in our Southern California factory using water based non-toxic finishes. Our paints are all Greenguard certified and have low-to-zero VOC.
WOOD CARVER
Our fine furniture is carved by handas it was for hundreds of years, never by machine. We use solid hardwoods, dove-tailed drawers, Blum soft-closing drawer glides and solid brass fittings cast in a British foundry dating to the 19th century. Gold and silver leaf finishes are applied using the methods of the gilders of Renaissance times.
Art for Kids was founded in Los Angeles in 1981. Pregnant with her first child, Gail Reiter Sedigh had recently quit her job in the entertainment industry to follow a lifelong passion: children's interior design, beginning with a custom-designed kid's name lettering wall art. Seventeen years later, introducing the first crib, changer and armoire established AFK as a premier source for fine children's furnishings.
